It's being replaced... The new stadium is under construction on the old airport site.

Thats a shame its such a nice design the old one a smaller 25000 seat version for bc lions and whitecaps to me would be perfect if that could ever happen but likely will not for another 10 or 20 years

Blue Jays discussing possible bid for 2027 All-Star Game with Major League Baseball
Shi Davidi
July 20, 2022

LOS ANGELES – The Toronto Blue Jays are talking to Major League Baseball about a possible bid to host the 2027 All-Star Game, after the Rogers Centre is through an upcoming renovation, according to two industry sources.

...

The Blue Jays have only hosted the event once, back in 1991 during the dome’s second full season, and are certainly due to stage another. That contest was a 4-2 American League win, with Hall of Fame shortstop Cal Ripken Jr. the game’s MVP.

...

Hosting the all-star game would be an opportunity to showcase a refurbishment for the dome expected to begin this fall and take place over two off-seasons.

Final plans aren’t yet known, but initial discussions included the outfield being redone with elevated bullpens and asymmetric walls this winter (some season-ticket subscribers were recently informed that they’ll be relocated in 2023). The rest of the lower bowl reset will start in the off-season to follow.

changes are spectacular bringing fans closer to the field and offering more party deck type experiences.

You posted a picture from 5+ years ago that doesn't even have the flight deck.

Great changes. The biggest improvement which is hard to see given all the pictures are facing the outfield is the change to the 100's level baseline seats. Carving out that section and rotating the seating so that you're actually facing home plate when you drop $60-$100 on a seat is nice improvement

More social/standing areas in the outfield and much lower 100 level seats in the outfield are also nice changes.

The changes to the lower bowl seating aren't part of this phase, they come later on in the multi-year off season process. What they released today is this winter's project.

The new video board has already been installed and replaces a lot of what used to be the outfield restaurant.

You can see in the renders that the proposal is to tear out general seating and replace it with outfield standing/party zones, and other gameday activation zones. Something like the WestJet party deck, or whatever it's called, is part of that transition.
