Their sales team is setting up appointments for mid November for those people that have registered on their site. So, should be more information to share after Nov 20th.

Sounds like interest has been strong for the condo portion of this project. Do you think there is any chance they can adjust the height of the building at this stage to accommodate increased demand or is it too late for modifications in plan?

as with most things, it's all about parking, sadly. we are reasonably beyond the point of significantly altering the design/size of the parkade.

why is the condo project saying it will be done by 2020 now? it was 2018 first, then 2019...now its another year after. im curious as to why ? especially if this condo has more interest than some of these projects in toronto( article stated )

nice to see such interest. this is good news for any future condo development downtown.

I don't imagine the height of the condo portion will change due to do the interest. Now if this interest translates to sales I wonder if they would consider altering one of the office towers to have condos as well. I don't believe those buildings are necessarily set in stone. This is all incredibly hypothetical but would another alteration to this parcel really shock anyone?

I don't think its so far off the mark. The parkade portion just kind of started getting dug and that is supposed to take ~9 months to complete, then another 18 months to complete the building, add in some time for delays you have ~2 and a half years.. The construction company will then hand the keys over to the hotel and condo companies to outfit as they please before anyone can move in. So late 2019 to early 2020 I wouldn't think is an unreasonable time frame.

I am just ballparking here, but there promo material indicates units starting in $200,000 range and they actually have units as small as 476sqft. So, based on that I am thinking they are looking at around the $420 per sq foot cost for units. Of course, I am sure as units get larger and are on higher floors, that square footage cost could go even higher.

As someone seriously interested in potentially purchasing in this development, I hope the cost is not much more then that! In Saskatoon's market, I would find it hard to pay much more then $500,000 for an 1100 sq foot condo! Hope the Toronto team has been given some good advice on our local market!!!

If I'm paying $500k for something, it's probably not a condo. But hey, that's just me.

Project looks nice though.

Yup, to each their own. Nothing wrong with condos. I'll end up there one day. For now, I'm trying to locate somewhere close to downtown in a single family home. Not a far flung suburb.

It looks like if you went for A1 you have to walk through the bedroom to get to the kitchen/living room.
