Nice work!

I'm totally okay with the "table top" skyline we're about to get.

I got looking into the new towers going up in Montreal recently and I didn't realize the extent of their building boom. Their top 10 tallest buildings list is going to be completely re-made in the next 3 years with the completion of:

-Maestria Tour A (606ft)
-Maestria Tour B (651ft)
-Victoria Sur Le Parc (660ft)
-National Bank HQ (660ft)
-1 Square Phillips (720ft)

All 5 of these towers will be in the top 10 tallest in the city. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

Don't forget about 900 Saint-Jacques at 200m (656ft) as well.

I can't find 900 St Jacques anywhere? Is it even approved?

NVM I found a forum in Montreal which discusses it. Seems the official renderings aren't even out yet, nor are the final specs. Looks to be another 200 tower though.

Anyone else find the Mirvish-Gehry proposal contrived looking?

The height increase application at One Bloor West and the 11 Bay proposal are getting me a lot more excited than the MG development.

One Bloor West might get taller?

I remember when Montreal had a "big 5"...5 towers between 205 and 187m (even though le 1000 is actually 215m but that's another story).

In about 3 or 4 years the IBM tower (second tallest, 199m) will barely break into the top 10.

This is the biggest and tallest skyscraper boom in the city's history.

And it's not even spurred on by a massive late 60's expo or an Olympic Games, this one is fully organic.

Figured I'd start the new year off with a new skyline - Ottawa. It is nowhere near complete yet but I've got a fair amount of towers to start. Gatineau is also included here as well.

Ottawa, ON:

Total # of new towers in skyline: 46
