Terrible. I'd rather it just remain whatever it is now. I'd rather that than the build out of a new surface parking lot in the city. Is that even allowed?

I don't support surface parking in this area, but the building looks like a miniature version of Ponce City Market, so overall, I like the building.

Yet another project in Atlanta that goes from amazing to extremely mediocre....how is this allowed? How can developers get permits, then change the entire design and still be allowed to start construction? I'm guessing the pedestrian bridge over the tracks is gone too. Sometimes, I really hate Atlanta.

Building

I don't mind the look of the building itself but the surface parking lot is a travesty. How is this allowed to be built?

Same here. My guess is that this is zoned for industrial use. That's how Fuqua was able to build that abomination at 17th & North Avenue.

This is what we need in that area! Fills up gaps in skyline nicely, looks great and transit-centered.

Oh, you mean in comparison to the AT&T Building? Hard to tell with renderings because they aren't always super accurate with heights. But it looks like the tallest proposal we've seen in a while for sure.

Anybody else getting 'big city' vibes by second image? Something about that tall glass first floor.

Yes sir...ATL needs this yesterday...With the debacle of Eviva and Opus, this is way needed to balance those out.

This would help make BofA tower feel less alone. I really really hope they can make this happen.

Portman's actually been proposing some nice things lately...maybe they've realized they have been a scourge on Atlanta's skyline for a while now.
