I believe the exact site of the school is where that pile of pre-load was placed after the Olympics, in the NE corner of the site near where that decomposing bulldozer art project was.

Thanks for the update. Central and Lido make a very imposing (if not quite coherent) pairing.

Correct. It is shown as the red building on that plan. Right now it is a grass field.

Thanks.

The small park across from the Salt Building should be nice.

A client of mine bought a suite in The One, for Pinnacle it's a pretty high quality building with some nice amenities like a roof-top infinity lap-pool and good finishes in the suites like Bosch appliances, quartz counters and A/C. Everyone's had to up their game a bit in SE False Creek as the Cressy and Bosa projects put in top-end everything and wow features and amenities.

That makes sense - there's not much view to "wow" the buyers with - so do it with the amenities and finishes.

I was completely unimpressed with some of the styling of the finishes. If I recall correctly, tacky metal blinds were used and the bathrooms felt like it was styled in the 90's.

I did like how the showroom layout felt a lot bigger than the square feet it claimed...unless it was actually bigger than the stated size.

Yes, that turned me off The One. The setup looks great, but I figured I'd never use it, and a fully outdoor pool in Vancouver is good for only about 2 months a year.

Plus you are very close to probably the best community center in Vancouver, at Creekside.

Amenities such a rooftop lap pools don't always equate to high strata fees, the do, in fact tend to often attract buyers when you're looking to sell. I currently have a listing in Donovan in Yaletown, a Cressy building with amazing amenities and it has some of the lowest strata fees downtown and the fees include A/C and geothermal heat.
