Most neighborhoods saw a development refresh as many left on the list were completed or had their status changed. I also included a ton of few missing developments not included in the last refresh because I'm dumb.

Little River was added this time around along with its surrounding areas.

There are 48 highrises (12 floors or more) under construction in Miami as of the end of March. This is up 4 from the 44 counted last update.

The Hungarian-born Hollo was one of the first to develop Miami’s urban core in a big way, with projects including the Omni mall and multiple surrounding towers.

Brickell’s 85-story Panorama Tower, which is currently the tallest building in Miami, was built by Hollo’s Florida East Coast Realty when he was in his late 80s.

Florida East Coast Realty recently sold 1201 Brickell Bay Drive for $363 million, where billionaire Ken Griffin is planning a supertall tower.

The company is also in the process of demolition at One Bayfront Plaza, where another supertall tower is planned.

This list saw Aston Martin Residences removed, multiple proposed towers added, and a few lowrise buildings in Wynwood being removed due to completion.

There are 50 highrises (12 floors or more) under construction in Miami as of the end of May. This is up 2 from the 48 counted last update.

Also, Miami officially has more skyscrapers under construction than any U.S city. Miami has 18 skyscrapers (150m, 492FT) under construction. Just based on trends, Miami will most likely surpass 20 under construction this summer with the St. Regis residences breaking ground, JEM beginning foundation piles, etc.

This whole region is coming together with density. The strip malls are slowly becoming less prevalent. Next.. time for some adequate storm water infrastructure. Tampa is adding miles of infrastructure quietly and the city rarely has flooding like South Florida does!

There should be a Ft Lauderdale/Hollywood/Broward development page, since Hallandale Beach is a part of Broward County (BTW, nice project that's coming up).

Hallandale Beach's 2023 population is 41,547, meaning that it has a density of 9,868 ppsm, making it Broward County's densest community!

True I should've put this post under the Fort Lauderdale page (it exists), I just didn't realize Hallandale Beach was on the very very edge of Broward and Miami-Dade. But this is really exciting! I love that both towers are rising now!
