Amazing Brentwood development looking tall and pretty amazing. I can't wait for the full cluster of 10 towers to be completed in the next ten years.

Current towers already looking taller than anything else we have from Lougheed Highway.

What a difference 7 years of construction boom can make!

Amazing transformation in just 7 years. Can't wait to see the next 7 year update. Thank you for sharing your pics.

Thank you, all. I also thought that the comparison was pretty neat and I have captured similar angles of many of our skylines for future comparison.

I think I will do my next comparison from this angle in three years when the eastern skyline has been filled up by all the Concord Brentwood towers. They will really bring some balance to the skyline and help to bridge the current gap.

Can I just say it it once more how much I love Amazing Brentwood when driving along Lougheed Highway? It is obvious in the other photos that the towers are not that close and are all the same height, but they layer on top of each other so nicely from that angle to make a mega cluster that looks like something out of Hong Kong or Seoul. We really don't have anything similar anywhere in the Metro and it screams big city.

When I saw that view while driving some time ago, I just knew that I had to get back to capture it in a photo...

Nice shot. I like how the apartments on the right side flow down the road as well.

We are so lucky to live in a place where plants can grow to 'hide' a massive above ground concrete parking bunker - beneath that line of condos.

More from City of Rain March 29th.

You can see up the roadway that there's glass on the mall addition (but no coming soon wrap)
and orange tarps on the east end of the food court (next to the exterior stairs).

Could be walled up or different windows - probably some sort of customized storefront.
There were also tarps there on his February pics.

Use the other thread for owners discussion.

Last night there was a brief thunderstorm over Burnaby and I saw one lightning strike the tall towers of Brentwood in the most spectacular fashion.
