Here's another rendering - Not sure if its the current design.

I'm really afraid it is because it is much more detailed than the previously released rendering. Really disappointing.

Here's a side-by-side comparison: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OOWU3sQ463NVOETuI0imHaEhW_-TwExK/view?usp=sharing

I'm afraid the dreaded VE-monster has struck again. It's not bad. It's just a lot less interesting than the original concept.

As long has the height has not changed it’s not that bad. I am disappointed the crown changed.

I hate the change of the bottom/parking part. The top/crown looks better tho. It looks more sleek.

There's a lot of activity on the Quarry Yards site. They tore down a couple of the old industrial buildings and flattened out a huge area. Multiple pieces of heavy machinery.

That's exciting. Probably waited for the quarry to start getting filled up.

903 Peachtree Looks More Like an Office Building Now

903 Peachtree Street now looks more like an office building than a residential use development. It may feel that way because there are so few balconies - something you would seem to find more of in an apartment/condo tower.

That's the first thing that stood out to me. Balconies are a must.

Hopefully all of these investors that have been sitting on these SFH around that area will start flipping.

Atlanta mostly doesn't have this problem, but maybe Charlotte has.

There are balconies, they’re just not all over the building. Even the original design didn’t have a ton of them. So some units will have them and some won’t. There are several examples of new 20-35 story apartment towers being built in Downtown Oakland which have few balconies. I personally would want a balcony If I lived in a highrise, but that’s not going to matter as much to everyone. At least have windows which open partially if no balconies.

The latest figures underscore its influence. Financial-related industries occupy 60 million square feet of the 332 million-square-foot Midtown office market, 26 million of the 123 million-square-foot downtown market, and some 6 million square feet of the 106 million-square-foot Midtown South market, according to CoStar.

There's 561 million square feet of office space in Manhattan. DAMMMNNN!

That's freaking astonishing.

Does anyone know how many sq ft of office space is in Fulton County? Just asking.
My guess would be between 60 and 70 million.

The main disincentive for holding NY office space is pretty obvious. Few employees want to be there. The office workforce realizes that NY cost of living conditions are lousy. I mean the cost of housing and the public transport condition. Lousy. In the past months a number of young people have left NY and moved back with mom-dad. Fact.

going by colliers' numbers, looks like there's at least 73m in the city (26m dt, 25m mt, 22m bh) and an additional 60m outside (half in perimeter, half in alpharetta) - but i'm probably missing other districts (airport, century center/85, etc)
