Well, when you can only see the roof from several miles away through a telephoto lens, I can see how you might come to that conclusion.
While it’s no looker, that’s for sure, it’s typical of it’s size and budget - a 7006 seat arena for hockey (9,000 for concerts) completed in 2005 for only 40 million - I think nowadays you’d need to shell out 100 million for the same. Has a restaurant, box suites, the typical stuff. Inside shot from

Unfortunate long standing naming rights makes it look like a giant grocery store, lol - but what’s even funnier is how this building from the outside looks similar to the arena your Saint John Sea Dogs play in, the older 6,300 seat TD Station. Picture from Wikipedia:
