Yeah. I was only able to see it up close this weekend from a cab on LSD but the glass looks awesome. Can't wait to see it completed. Going to definitely be sick.

I guess I haven't asked a lot of people how they feel about the building, but those that I have love it as do I.

What a photo. That picture on top with the photo of the lake and backdrop of the skyline is one of the best I have seen. I tell you AON and Vista form a two punch skyscraper scene unlike any other, even with the distance between them, especially when driving north on LSD. Chicago has been blessed with natural vistas that makes its skyline impressive from any view. The only other cities I know that gives as great views are San Francisco and Pittsburgh in their own way.

340 OTP is a perfect transition between the designs and materials of Aon and Vista.

Literally it's square and white concrete on the Aon side and green glass and triangular on the Vista side. The composition of Chicagos skyline is unmatched.

Is there a reason why some single window panes are discolored compared to the ones surrounding them?

Wow with so many great pics being posted here all the time it made me smile to hear that those lucky snaps are being appreciated. I feel compelled to drop the high res here.

Yes, the reason is because the original panels shipped to them did not fit, were damaged, or did not perform properly under stress testing. After watching them spend literally 3 hours trying to shove one awkwardly placed window into place on the southwest shear wall, then failing... I assume most of them just didn't fit.

The shot capturing the water with a flat frozen surface giving it an almost glass like quality to reflect the buildings is what struck me most.

Has bombardier ever been corrected before??

I could also benefit from a bit more clarification on the reason whatever EFCO is doing is much less efficient than this Talon Wall system.

Also maybe some suggestions on where to read up on McHugh being corrupt...

Are they going to replace them in the future? Or will they stay like that? Because I will be a bit disappointed if it isn't a perfect gradient

Nice pic bonobo, they are almost finished up with GEMS exterior. It looks cool. Playful. Fun. But, pressed up against our baby.. lets just not talk about it.

^^ Ha, what do you think this is? China? Russia? USA is no third rate country. We care about the finished product! (Except for Related's 111 W Wacker, where I believe there is still a temp pane or two in place)

Words and pictures cannot express how tall this building looks when viewed from the intersection of Illinois and McClurg
