28C with a humidex of 33 and sunny. Another perfect day.

Low of 18C this morning. Still in that comfortable range.

The warmspot was Gaspe, QC at 31.2C.

Warmest low was Port Colborne, ON at 19.9C.

In between hours high temperature for YUL officially is 31.0C. Highest hourly was 28.1C. It's not impossible but I am a little suspicious. If true, it would be the 10th latest 30C day for Montreal.

Weekend was incredible. Didn't know how many beach days would be left but plenty still. Was thinking that with pure sunshine and no wind it would idyllic swimming conditions. Well it was, once you got past the shoreline. Like WTF? How does this even happen to the shore? Like you had to step in shit to get to the good water and swim.

Also went to a trout pond for the first time since 2012. I figured my kids would each catch a one pounder and take them home for the grill. $11.50 a pound. Well, the first two that smashed the worm were big. After paying $3 entry for five of us, then two fish at $11.50 per lb, then $1 each fish for cleaning and for the worms and maybe tax, total damage was $79. It did taste good though. This pond was very brown though. Like you could barely see your toes if you stepped in. A complete contrast to the one in Dufferin County, which I've also included pics of.

At the same property as the trout pond, they also have a short 9 hole course for $18. The holes range from 58 to 88 yards. I've played mini golf courses that are longer. It's just like Grand Highland in Mississauga.

In Timmins we never have had a heatwave like this in September.

Sunday 29 C, Monday 30 C, Today 29 C and the next four days have highs of 27 C. And last week was well above normal every day as well. Almost a 2 week heatwave!!!

28C with a humidex of 33 and sunny. Nothing else needs to be said. Perfection and a copy paste of the last 3-4 days.

Low of 18C. Super mild and a copy paste of the last 3-4 days as well.

The warmspots were Val Marie, SK and Bathurst, NB at 31.0C

Warmest low was Downtown Montreal, QC at 20.5C. Currently 22.9C at midnight so the tropical low will hold officially.

So yesterday's 31.0C for Montreal is a faulty reading, official high was 28.3C. Even people at EC ADMIT it's an incorrect reading, what do you think is showing in the data for YUL? Those kind of things enrages me. That's why I am very extreme in my opinion of EC. Funding is not the problem. Incompetence is.

called the station and the observer confirmed that the sensor was faulty. That's obvious regarding the hourly data.

Still not fall in Moncton.

17C, sunny but humid in Moncton at 8 AM, going up to 29C this afternoon (humidex 35). There is a chance of pop up thunderstorms this afternoon.

Cloudy, some fog or haze in the sky, and 18 at 11am. Winds relatively calm too, very comfortable out.

Huge cooldown coming though, with temperatures in the next week expected to top out in the low teens.

Summer returned. One of the neighbours parked his car half on the sidewalk in order to get fully under it and work on it. I came around the corner and his legs were sticking out from under it lol

Also, a whole ass book in my mailbox. Presumably anti-Catholic missionaries? Or pro-Catholic?

Fall is quickly approaching on the West Coast. Today was 19c and sunny, but shadows are starting to get really long much earlier.

27C with a humidex of 30 and sunny. Also like clockwise, September is our driest month. 11 consecutive days now without a single drop of rain

Low of 17C this morning. Once again copy paste. A 6th consecutive 25C+ day and a 5th straight low above 15C.

The warmspot was Miramichi, NB at 31.1C.

Warmest low was Thunder Bay, ON at 19.5C.

Downtown Montreal had its low of 20.5C confirmed yesterday. Most likely will be the last tropical night in the country this year.

Latest such night since 2017 when downtown recorded 3 consecutive lows above 20C from September 24-26th with YUL recording 2 straight on their own.

Wall to wall sunshine this month. It's getting very dry. High of 25.4, humidex 31 and low of 17.6.

Went for a walk in the sycamore woods in Wallaceburg. This forest is unique, dominated by trees not common in Canada, like American sycamore. A lot of basswood and red oak, along with Chinquapin oak, swamp white oak, bur oak, bitternut hickory, shagbark hickory, blue beech, ironwood, silver maple, cottonwood and probably a few others.

Yes, although its a fun tree haha.

The squirrels sure love that species, I know that well from living on Shagbark Crescent in Mississauga for a few years.
