That's the best skyline shot of Sherbrooke I've ever seen. It's also the ONLY Sherbrooke skyline shot I've ever seen.

Amazing shot. I've skied Orford many times.

What's going on in this shot? Is that some mega building that straddles the road? What are those mini buildings just in front? Something seems off.

That's a wonderful shot of Sherbrooke! Sherbrooke is one of the few cities outside NB & PEI that I have never been to and I've always heard good things about it.

That’s the back end of the failed King Centre mall, now office space. The structure covers two blocks and passes over Charles street. The ion trains pass under that overpass. The green bands are windows installed by Manulife in a recent renovation (Manulife has since moved out).

The little building are used by vendors for the Cristkindl market - they were put in the pedestrianized section of Gaukel St this year because the plaza at City Hall is under renovation.

^Was that the old Eaton Centre in downtown Kitchener? I seem to recall going there a few times as a wee kid early 80s. I really hated when they tore down all those old factories around Charles and Francis and the Lyric etc were intentionally burned down.

Downtown Kitchener is so depressing - I found myself around the KPL today. What it needs is some beautiful masonry/red brick midrises, dozens of them with ornate detailing. And trees!

No, the "new" Eatons was in the Market Square mall The previous Eatons was on King at Water - that building is now a condo.

The department store in the King Centre mall was a Robinsons.

I'm not sure I would consider the top 3 photos to be Uptown; more upper-Midtown (Downtown ends at Victoria Street and Uptown ends at William Street, in my mind).

I tend to agree, but I think the folks living in those towers like the "cachet" of saying they live in Uptown. "Midtown" doesn't seem to have any legs yet.
