I think Brentwood Market is/has always been marked with seating as the food court area.
There was a 2016 floorplan with the north anchor being about 36,000 sq ft.
The "Sporting Line" store could also have been 2 floors, as the Sherway Gardens Sporting Life store is 2 levels.
But that north end of the mall seemed to change significantly with every set of leasing plans.

PS - looking through an older Oct 2018 leasing brochure (the one with Holt's pictured) ...
They had pics of Wilfred, Mackage and Cos listed under "Brentwood Boulevard - Wilfred confirmed.
They had Equinox, St Ann Restaurant (?), Cactus Club and JJ Bean listed under The Plaza - Steve Nash, Cactus Club and Starbucks confirmed.
They had Rag & Bone and Aesop listed under The Mews - which is probably whether the H&M is located.

I wonder if Steve Nash is taking that large space off the plaza? That would be a poor use of prime real estate.
Maybe into the old Sears temporarily?

Every time I see a Burnaby condo which went on sale much much later than TAB ready and occupied made me hopping mad. Triumph already has its penthouse unit on the market for rent available March. https://vancouver.craigslist.org/bnc/apa/d/burnaby-3-bedroom-apartment-gilmore/7070532608.html What is wrong with TAB which cannot get its acts together and use all kinds of excuses. The last amendment for T2 said delayed to May 2020. Why is it other developer can accomplish so much in a timely manner? whereas TAB comes up with more excuses than a roll of toilet paper.

Lots of amenity photos with the ad, but unfortunately only one photo of the crazy view. The unit seems to be almost as high up as our unit in Sovereign, although we are on a hill. This tower sure is tall!

I knew it was too good to be true.

That second bedroom is more like a large den than anything else. I don't consider a room without a window a bedroom. I wonder if there is some added ventilation at least built in to compensate for the lack of air flow.

The B plan second bedroom is a sliding glass wall box, zero privacy or window.

The hot water pressure isn't very good and if you face East expect to be woken up by construction at 6:30am every day. Also since the fire alarm is integrated site wide they sometimes accidentally activate it in this building while testing others, which isn't nice to wake up to either.

Just small things, overall it's pretty nice.

Yeah, that "second bedroom" should be an office instead. Still, a decent price for sub-penthouse level and for the sqft.

Looking at the floorplan, it looks like this tower is filled with lots of tiny units all the way to the 61st floor.

This unit is by private strata owner , therefore do not have the 2 months free promotion. The second bedroom with no window do not bother me ,except this building does not have A/C and is south facing, hence pretty darn hot in the summer even on the 61 floor. Still nice price even just for the view. 2 people share , $1400 pp for penthouse experience is worth it. My friend rented tiny dark very old basement suite on Commercial for $1200 a month.

Bring a measuring tape and take all your measurements for your furniture. Inspect every nook and cranny and test the appliances if you're allowed to. Bring a cellphone charger and test the outlets to ensure they are all working. You might look insane but some of our outlets were not actually working in my house (not TAB).. so I'm glad I tested that before moving in.

Did T1 rentals say there was an issue with hot water or something? Test for that too?

I would personally ask if they are able to spare you some extra floor/ backsplash tiles in case you damage them. Otherwise you definitely won't be able to get the same dye lot in the future.

Ironically after posting about the hot water today it's been fixed, but we'll see if it lasts. It's been a few times now.

edit: nope hot water back to being weak today

Also yeah check the outlets, the USB ports at my dining room table didn't work.

I mean for a 1 bedroom and "flex space" in that location with all the amenities in a sub penthouse with insane views I dont think the pricing is off.

Give me T&T (I'll also accept large scale HMart or another Asian supermarket) or give me death :slob
The other option that'd be novel would be an Amazon Go...

No TAB does not need a bakery because you can get it from Whole food, Save on , or Costco which is only 5 minutes drive . For Chinese bakery you can also go to Kensington Garden T &T.

A bakery would be a great addition. Especially an Asian one. As the closet one would be Metrotown or Lougheed mall.

T&T on First is even closer, somewhat unlikely to see a T&T in the Brentwood area because of that I think.
