Kazuma Okamoto says he loves the city of Toronto and is excited about the team, but there was another piece to his decision:

Okamoto put all 30 MLB logos in front of his daughter and asked her which one she liked the most.

She chose the #BlueJays

Only 3 logos in MLB aren't based around letters. The Jays, Mariners and Orioles. So it stands out in that regard. And it's as clean and close to perfect as you can get. Perfect shape and colour pallet.

I have two $10 traded player jerseys, one shirt and one hat from their rebranded days. I look back at that now and say to myself what was I thinking? How could I have supported a departure from our classic logo and colour combo? Then they went back to traditional, but tightened up the logo to perfection, and like everyone else, I realized how much I missed it and how incredible it is.

Over the past 6 months I stepped up my thrifting game and bought so many hats and jerseys because the logo is just so likeable. It's strikingly good and looks so good on the blue and baby blue jerseys.

If they had won the WS I'd be wearing their gear 24/7 like when the Raps won.

Except for when we had this abomination in 2001, followed by an even worse design. I love the OG, and from 2012 to the present.

The Expos only changed one time. But both designs were decent with not much change. But their logo was literally M(ontreal) E(xpos) B(aseball)
