That is a Trans-Am kit you can get for the new Camaro. I believe it is a new nose, badging and tail lights.

.......oh yeah, 300 Assiniboine looks huge coming into downtown over the Mid-Town Bridge.

It does look impressive coming from the south. I believe the development will have 200 units of indoor parking space.

Should start an SSP cars thread haha

I think my favourite view is actually on Harkness going from Stradbrook to Main. It's directly in front of you and is already high above the trees. Makes it feel like TOD is actually happening there (even though it's across the river).

Tower isn't the most visibly appealing, but great none the less. Will only increase the amount of folks living downtown, which is always a good thing.

Nice that they preserved the trees in front.

To me, it's just another concrete tower. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's being constructed but honestly they could have done better. And I personally think that the townhouse units don't match the tower property.

So am I.. with 25 floors of residential at this location you can't go wrong, not pretty per se, but a welcome addition to the Assiniboine area.

This building looks quite substantial as you head up or down the Midtown Bridge. Not the prettiest tower out there, but it has a decent streetfront presence and the addition of more people to the area could give Broadway-Assiniboine a shot in the arm.

The renders never had the wow factor which is a bad sign since the renders usually try to push the sales.

I don't mind the building, many things can be better but any upfill is a good thing. And this does not have too many negatives

Just got back after 6 weeks away. I see they've got some of the walls of the 18th floor in place.

Sorry if everyone knows about this already, but I just figured out the floor plans are available at http://300assiniboine.com/floorplan/#primary

They are kind of hidden since 300assiniboine.com points nowhere.

They've added many walls of the 19th floor the last couple days.

The potties are now sitting on the 20th floor. Should be topped out early spring at this rate.
