Why do people think St Albert is a priority for LRT?

BRT for sure, but LRT would be a gross mis-use of money in my mind

I really dont think St. Albert would ever get one; but imagine 2 lines. 1 under st. albert trail to DT and one down 170th to the west end.

57,000 people... dont think it's enough population to serve.

I for one would take it in the drop of a hat. I do believe, however, that Edmonton needs to service itself. If St. Albert wants one, it pays for one. It doesn't need to be leeching off of Edmonton.

We (they?) have their own bus system anyways.
