I really like that last pic of yours!

And after taking 5 days of summer off, good to see the hotspot back in BC!

Warmest low was Harrow, ON at 19.6C.
Yes! I applaud the citizens of Montréal for not complaining about light pollution (or do they, to no avail). The most colorful city in Canada, I love Montréal.

We hit a high of 21C in Toronto today, and with sunny skies, it felt like a fitting day to go to the Exhibition, which runs annually by Toronto's Waterfront.
I have quite a few images, which I'll share later. For now heres a simple one that sums up the day:

Got back on Monday from the Niagara region. It's been about 8 years since I was last in the region. And a lot longer than that since I was at Martindale Pond. This was for the World Rowing Championships. U19, U23 and non Olympic events. First couple of days were unusually cool. but by the weekend it was traditionally hot and humid weather. I know I was melting, but the Banana popsicles helped. Photos to follow. Thanks to a close friend we were given all access accreditation.

It's a tragic day. One of the most beautiful men on my block is moving away with his lovely GF (who ran the Tely with us; I forget her name!).

Full creeper watching from my house. But I swear I have leaned out the window, made myself visible, wished them well! I'm not serving FULL basement-dweller, just partial lol

Beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky. Currently 28 with a humidex of 37. The low was 19.6. Pretty muggy again, but I went for a dip in the lake earlier and it feels great sitting outside listening to the cicadas buzz. The water feels so nice I may go for another dip after supper.

Low of 13C this morning.

The warmspot was Lytton, BC at 34.6C

Warmest low was Harrow, ON at 20.3C

Crisp but lovely.

Edit: Brunch time!

Edit: Superette.

(The mask lowering requirement is just to get buzzed in; you're allowed in wearing a mask, of course, though these days it's mostly only people sick themselves who wear one). The middle bald guy I recognize from the bus - he went person to person one day asking for money. Captive audience. It was excruciating to watch lol

EDIT: My parents are living better than I do. Just parked at my place to go downtown to a Shanneyganock concert with FOUR friends

Gloomy and muggy. Had some rain earlier.

We have a north wind today, cooling things substantially for the next few days. Looks like we'll be running mostly below average for the first half of September. It's still 24 degrees, but feeling much cooler than the past week

Yesterday was great, sunny and 27, low of 20.7.
