Bruno Catalano Art, Park Ave. MikaJC

Probably the best addition to the Manhattan Skyline since One World Trade Center, One Vandy & BofA come close.

From certain viewpoints, like this one, Hudson Yards is an absolute abomination. It's the McMansion portion of the NYC skyline.

What nonsense. HY is great part of the modern skyline

Phase II is going to blow folks socks off. Adds an incredible dynamic IMO to the skyline from many angles. From the harbor, when viewed from the Kosciuszko.

I think its weakest angle if just pure aesthetics are to be considered actually happens to be from the NJ side but this may change once Phase II is complete. When viewed anywhere from the East of the East river, it really shines. Adds that futuristic touch to the city.

Love views like this. When this thing is lit up at night, it will be spectacular.

Yeah, that's why I prefaced it with "from certain viewpoints". I'm hoping that Phase II will balance it out a bit from Jersey. It's just a too chunky from this angle as it is now.

Can someone explain that statue to me? Is the missing body portion transparent? Or are the other parts that are "floating" connected to something? And why is it wearing pants?

Larger than life, think transparent plastic or a mold.. either way it's a French artist and he's carrying a Louis Vuitton bag and wearing blue jeans, classic Americana.. I guess it symbolizes commercialism & traveling.

Maybe its to bring awareness to a chronic digestive disease characterized by inflammation of the inner lining of the colon, hence the missing of the gut.

Modern art requires modern interpretation.

Probably a message to ensure the NY hot dog vendors have an A rating and not a D rating. Considering he has six pack abs, he was not use to that type of food!

And rightfully so! The NY Penn bathrooms are painted in vomitus from unsuspecting folks purging the contents of the hot dog street vendors. If you ever go into those stalls, and you see vomitus on the walls and some guy taking a bath in the sink, now you know!

The bag he's holding is attached the the left leg (our left) and, as such, supports the entire upper portion of the body
