Same neigbhourhood as above. I was viewing a property for work and noticed the eclectic mix of styles in this place. Makes for interesting viewing.
These two were probably quite attractive at the time when glass block styling was in fashion.
This has bunker style. But TBF, the entrance side could be better, but too many trees in the way to have a look. Still though, it's a corner lot and I would have hoped for something more inspiring than that.
This also shows the main problem of concrete vs asphalt driveways, something we touched on a while ago. When asphalt is cracking, you can fill it and then reseal (paint it black again) and the cracking isn't as noticeable. Also cheaper to redo, though maybe concrete lasts longer?
With concrete, the filler is white and so it's very noticeable. However, you can also DIY resurface concrete, so put another layer on top. Don't really know anything about that but sounds expensive and more time consuming. If you've got money, then you should be able to have the pros replace.
I like the look of concrete better but interlock even more. And more than that, cobblestone, slabs and resin. Of course, those are super expensive.
