Today. Once again no action shots, not having much luck capturing heavy machinery work next time.

Arrow from an older post, to the present day ...

I disagree. While it's true that it has been cut back from the original design and is less 'daring,' I think it will add presence to that piece of Georgia, and subtly "dynamize" it, if you will.
Other opinions are encouraged. Also, I'd love to hear members' opinions as to where Vancouver is "at" and where it is going architecturally or otherwise related issues.

Great updates! Thanks everyone. This one is going to be a great addition to the neighbourhood. I used to live nearby and walked by the site frequently, and while I liked the big reflecting pool and thought that little freestanding outbuilding with the high-end kitchen studio was a neat, this site will be greatly improved with this new building.

Today
Counting down from those 2 old parkade openings, looks like they're at sub-level 7

I was not able to capture the Northwest corner, sidewalk closed, after hours we can get a picture of that corner.

They have been excavating for a year. This is so slow-moving, I keep forgetting it's even under construction.

In case anyone wants to go get a snapshot, it looks like they put up the crane yesterday, or at least were preparing to do so.
