New renderings are so nice. It looks much more slender, and the silverish glass is awesome. This tower has instant icon written all over it.

I would much prefer silvery glass but I don't think the colors in the new rendering are accurate. It appears that they simply desaturated the whole thing for dramatic effect.

Hancock is already #4, this'll push it to #5.

IMO, the way it meets the ground (and the neighboring buildings) is by far the worst thing about it... which is saying a lot...

yeah that silver grey rendering makes it look very steely and sophisticated. i dig.

REALLY hope this is the direction they take it, as opposed to a deeply saturated blue which i think is really played out

still feels too "blocky" to me though. the main tower is nice and slender but thats all kinda undercut by the fat midsection of the other two neighbors

My biggest concern about this project is where everybody is going to park. There needs to be at least 2 parking spots for every condo and hotel room so that there will be plenty of parking for everyone, and it won't create too much congestion for the streets around it. I especially worry because, without parking, all children will die.

I wish something that makes a bold, iconic statement - like this wonderful Wanda/Gang building - would have been planned for Wolf Point. This super-luxury condo will be up and running while Magellan is renting out studios and 1-br apartments at the Wolf Point West Tower. Imagine that Wanda internal atrium looking down the River from Wolf Point.

I believe the tallest tower is 100% parking deck.

Parking shouldn't be a concern the base of the building is surrounded by parking podiums so I am sure both ends of the building will be parking up to upper wacker dr.

And will include automated car crushers, allowing even denser parking.

Man O Man that last rendering is sublime.....

If this thing gets built (and it looks like it probably will), this will not only be the best recently built in Chicago, but also one of the most unique tall highrises recently built in the country. This is freaking too good...... This has made my day!!

That's the plan and we should all be thankful because children force parents to move to the suburbs, so fewer children means more city residents. Duh. /s

Exactly and also they need to give away free dog kennels to every resident.... and strollers!
