Mission's under three inches of snow. I just spent an hour changing my tires back to winters. I hated it but made up for it with a fun ride around town. Lots of people abandoned their cars on the streets.

Or those of us who were smart enough to drive with winter tires. I can be stopped on a steep hill and accelerate no problems.

Some of the doors were frozen shut on the West Coast Express so they had to force them open. It was a one minute delay getting off the train...

We're expecting wet snow through Metro Vancouver and 5-10 cm of snow in the Fraser Valley tonight.

No, the snow was deep and heavy. This was like back in 96 or 97.

Sigh, here we go again.

Climate change is making our entire weather system out of whack. Even though Vancouver's getting more and more snow each year, the average temperatures on this planet is slowly creeping up. If you don't understand the concept then move on to different things.

Saturday
Cloudy with sunny periods and 70 percent chance of rain showers or flurries. Risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Wind west 50 to 70 km/h diminishing to 30 late in the morning. High 6.
So tomorrow will be sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy, windy, and a bit of thunderstorm?

It's coming down heavily in Central City, don't know when it started. Days like this are why I dread looking out the window when I wake up in the afternoon.
