I never gave much thought to window washing systems before. Just one more in the HUGE litany of systems that every skyscraper must address...
not every skyscraper. here at marina city there is no window washing system, individual unit owners are responsible for keeping the glass of their unit as clean as they desire. my glass is freaking disgusting right now, but it's been too damn cold to do anything about it. the first warmish weekend in february i'm on it.

Good point. You have to admit, though, that Marina City is rare in having a balcony outside every window. Any tower that has windows without balconies needs a system to keep those clean.

^^In Harry's last photo, is that concrete or just some temporary protective barrier where the exterior wall will be. It would seem odd for it to be concrete and not put any condo units there.
