Does anybody know how we add these little building graphics to the diagram? I feel Denver is highly underrepresented in the number of larger-scale items going up. I've looked around the forum here for a clue as to how you can create/submit these, but still not fully sure. Anybody?

I wondered about the location. I think everybody riding a sugar high with downtown. Maybe that's appropriate though?

If you compare Elitches to the kind of park that could be built on 300 acres then it clearly pales by comparison. But if you compare it to options near downtown then it's great. I had somebody tell me once how much they enjoyed the Denver Zoo. If you compare it to the San Diego Zoo or Forest Park in St. Louis it pales by comparison but her point was it was an ideal size to take the kids for a day trip and it was nicely laid out. I like the points that corey made too.

I wonder if they'd look at something like Salt Lake City's City Creek Center for inspiration? Could it become downtown Denver's higher end retail destination?

I didn't see it mentioned but is there any possibility for a restaurant/bar on one of the top floors?

Like a virus is it spreading?

"Exclusive: Geico working deal to bring 1,400 employees to Richardson"
Jun 8, 2015 by Candace Carlisle, Dallas Business Journal
Quote:
Geico Insurance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc., plans to move the company's North Texas regional hub to Richardson to accommodate its growing workforce in the region.

But a deal to lease 232,000 square feet of space to house up to 1,400 employees has yet to be completed.
So why am I posting about a Dallas deal? Note the reason for the move:
Quote:
...which has a six vehicle per 1,000 square feet of real estate parking ratio (which helped drive the deal).

"This building would help Geico with its parking requirement and put its workers in an open floor plan environment," Bandy told me. "This would give them enough parking to accommodate their growing workforce."
Getting out my 1960's mechanical calculator I was able to determine Geico is allocating only ~165 square feet per employee. Now that's efficiency. Enough efficiency apparently to move out of their company owned building which they'll either sublease or sell.

It's this growing trend that could give the Denver Tech Center or other suburban office parks a renewed competitive advantage.

..... the 10-story, (140") 1601 Wewatta Street building is absent above.... the structure is basically built at this time, and probably only the interior needs finishing - is this why it is not on above list?.....

..... The Art Hotel/Museum Center 9 stories, (121") also is for all intents and purposes built, but not officially opened, so could be considered U/C, and I believe could be added to the list...

..... Jackson Gables is already U/C? If so, I missed that......

..... Joule (1000 Spear) and EnV Denver (on SP pages list) are one and the same project/building, just a name change after the start of development...

..... upon last presentation to the Denver Planning Board a few weeks ago, 1709 Chestnut involves two separate buildings - one is as stated (23 stories residential), and the second is to be a 12-story residential building, about 140" tall... see http://www.denver-cityscape.com/ - (see 4/10/15 entry)

.....also, where would 1901 + Wewatta go?

There was once a rendering of this building

but doesn't Elan Union Station, already built, take up all of that block?

Good job.....

A couple of more......

....Sloans Lake Condos 12-stories (140"?) proposed.......

... Source Hotel 10-stories (around 120"?) proposed.....

http://denverurbanreview.com/2015/05/zeppelin-development-announces-plans-for-the-source-hotel/

and does anyone know what happened to the proposed additional 7 floors of residential that was supposed to be added to this 6-stories of parking structure on 15th Street and Delgany

https://www.google.com/maps/@39.752215,-...1!3m2!1sWCxbZ1VCxTACowp9v34a2w!2e0?hl=en
(as of 20 seconds ago)

and as stated in Denver Cityscape here

????????

If this were built/finished in 2013/4.... the developers would be pulling in some fantastic rents now........

After this, maybe I still might remember a few more projects?

No. It takes up about 2/3 of the block. The remaining is Phase 2, which will likely be a building in the 140' range of whatever use.

Okay.... and here I really don't want to appear to be differing, rather just wanting to understand but......

https://www.google.com/maps/search/elan+....7563526,-104.9986739,295m/data=!3m1!1e3

am I on the correct block? And maybe dimensions could be somewhat illusive with the map here, but really..... the space that is not built upon on this block is it really enough to support another highrise? I'm assuming then that it's going to be a very thin highrise? And this rendering

http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showpost.php?p=6579317&postcount=9655

just to my eye appears to be somewhat wide for the available space?

Just asking?

Sweet! I knew I was most likely missing some stuff. I appreciate the info and I'll incorporate soon. If anyone has any additional edits, let me know.

Good job dealing with this list.... it is getting extensive. There still may be a project or two out there?

Anyways, maybe as you're finished with the update..... maybe posting on the main Denver page here

http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=142548&page=23

will bring forum readers here up to date with the city who don't follow the Denver thread here?

This is just a suggestion (and hopefully to be taken as complimentary)..... since why not do the most with a good list like this, eh?
