An incredible morning shot of Ice District with the JW (current new tallest) in the middle and our future new tallest, Stantec 251m (tallest tower West of Toronto).

Stantec is 1/2 done. It's going to be a monster.

Whoa, Eau du Soleil is looking better than expected, at least in the glass department. Did NOT have high hopes for that one.

Stantec and JW.

Tower B should fit in quite nicely as well.

Love the angle. The sky this morning was a glorious red.

There is a very good possibility my photos from up the towers will be made public. If so I will post them at that time.

The JW has about 8 more floors, Stantec has 36.

Edmonton will be quite unique among Canadian cities by having one tower that totally dominates the skyline. Will be interesting to see the final effect.

Not only the tallest west of Toronto but the tallest outside Toronto.

Yes, finally some BIG changes for downtown Edmonton after decades of height restrictions and stagnation due to that stupid airport, gggrrr! Now, let's hope the 80 storey Alldritt tower also goes ahead (with design changes) and that yet a few more tallish proposals come along.

Always love seeing what Toronto is doing, it's nothing short of amazing the quality and sheer quantity of builds !!
