Coldrsx, that's a cool building!
Edmonton's been constructing some nice public architecture whether libraries, museums, rec centres, something like this

Velodrome looks awesome! And the flatness of Edmonton gives a heck of a nice view of the skyline from nearly anywhere in town it seems.

It's meant to mirror the Hemingway pool building (1970) next door and apparently are 'copper panels', but I believe that they are sealed or coated to not patina or oxidize.

The only thing about the velodrome I don't like is that it's completely invisible from any of the major streets near it.

^kinda sorta, but it's in the middle of our of our most unique parks/sport/astrological spaces.

Not sure about the "kinda sorta" part. I drove past there at least twice a day for the past three years and had no idea it was there.
