It looks like the storm drain pipe for Arens is in all the way to Anaquod Road so it should be ready to build the road. They were hammering in sheet piles in AE Wilson park to hold back the dirt when they start installing pipe under the creek.
I am gonna assume we are still many years away until Chuka BLVD gets extended to link up with Aurora BLVD. Does anyone know if a developer even owns the land in between there or still owned farmland.
Work definitely underway for the Grand Coulee #1 truckstop. Pile of steel for second Harbour Landing School keeps growing. Gordon Road condos look to be using the same precast slabs for the first floor as the Ronald McDonald House building. No major earthwork at the Kinsmen Park South project, maybe that will be done next year. New building going up in the park, saw a post somewhere that its for the Regina Ski Club. Crane in AE Wilson Park to reconfigure the temporary dam. Costco servicing work has progressed pretty far into the lot. I think the Westerra expansion is moving on the the next phase, equipment is parked to the east of the new apartment area.

Since the developers are building the roads they only build them as fast as they need more lots. There is another school going in north of Arens, maybe not starting until 2027 though. 2 years ago they extended the storm channel north in line with Cumberland road, so that will like be the boundary of the next push north.
I'm not sure if this rough plan is current, but Chuka isn't supposed to go directly to Aurora. It will curve and meet up with the lights at the cemetery providing additional access to Victoria.
City updates on Dewdney, 11th and Albert N. overpass. Progress is painful. Weather is blamed, but from my perspective we had overall great construction weather this summer.
The dam in AE Wilson Park is currently an island as they opened up one side to let water flow before closing off the other side. Grading work ongoing at Coopertown, visually not many changes to see.
Thank you for the updates so much construction at the global transportation hub a few years back they called it a white elephant. No, it is supposed to be coming the economic engine of Saskatchewan and once the red leaf plant starts construction it’s going to be wild., do you know which land they are developing on?

Be there or be Skuare.
Downtown Regina is getting a significant lift from Ottawa as officials announced new federal support for the city’s long-planned outdoor community hub, The Skuare.
Regina probably has the most stagnant skyline in the country. Any murmurs at all for any high-rise construction in the city?
The city is doing quite well better than anybody would’ve thought it’s booming , as for downtown that’s a whole different story it all stems from lack of leadership from City Hall hopefully something will be in the works

There is no chance of any office or residential in the medium term, even though Regina's population and economy are booming. No one wants to live downtown these days.
The new central library has had high-rise concepts attached to it in the past and it is out for RFQ responses.
Hotels have made a huge recovery since COVID, so that is a small possibility.

2011 Library Concept:
This was a fantastic proposal, but I don't see the library actually building anything in the next 10 years.
I stopped by AE Wilson Park twice today, as they were filling in the area for the creek crossing. Looks like the concrete / tarp thing is just for dirt containment. Dumping dirt in the water displaces the water from the area, no need for a water tight dam or to pump water out. Seems to be an incremental process keeping wet dirt on the leading edge while keeping most of the added dirt dry. I went back in the afternoon and they were focusing on compacting, not moving further out into the water. Once the water is out of the way they need to haul off the wet mud that was at the bottom of the creek and add more dry dirt.
Costco servicing is moving fast, pipework should wrap up early next week. No electrical work started yet. Starting the new house lot servicing on the east end of Westerra.
I just noticed yesterday was my 1 year dronaversary. I took about 800 photos with the Neo before switching to the Mini 3. And 3600 photos / videos with the Mini 3 since the end of January. The DJI Fly app shows 410 km of distance and 33.5 hours of flying over 415 flights for the Mini 3. Strong temptation to switch to a Mini 4 Pro or Mini 5 Pro with the controller with a built in screen (and extra programmable buttons). The biggest difference with the pro drones are the automatic and semi-automatic flight modes and object tracking to maintain smooth flight for video.
An $11 million building permit was pulled for the new private indoor sports facility in Chuka Creek Business Park. I can't recall the details on this one.
I saw a billboard advertising this while biking south on the bypass today. Its going to be south of the Hill Ave interchange, there's a gravel service road parallel to the bypass there. https://www.sasksafety.org/safety-ce...xcellence.html
I took another look at the website. The current phase of construction doesn't include any permanent buildings. Just grading, servicing, parking lot layout and getting trees planted.
A lot going on at the Grand Coulee exit. Big lineup of asphalt trucks and trucks delivering road base for the truck stop. There's a long road that looks more like a service road than a business entrance so maybe more than one business will be out there. Looks like they want to get it paved before winter. Quite a bit of paving left at the Grand Coulee exit, most of the ramps need a final layer of asphalt. Oval area is probably a large storm water pond for the development as it appears to be a hole.
Costco land servicing moving along even since yesterday. Steel going up for the second Harbour Landing school. Steel building frames don't show up well on drone shots.

This is gonna be an interesting build, taking up a lot of land and there may well be other businesses out there , now who owns that land and thank you for posting
