What a stunning pile of steel! The photos on this page are all incredible. This might be the single most awesome new corporate HQ tower ever built; certainly the best since the Sears Tower. Just gorgeous.

Damn, with the latest erection of steel columns makes it appear really close to the topping out pinnacle height of the Tower or on par with it. Maybe just one more jump to go. Home stretch now. This is probably one of my new favorite buildings in NYC by far.

I think it's very close, with just one more "level" above current columns.

They’re all levels at this point. We don’t know if JPMC will designate floors like is the case with every other new office tower.

So close. From thoughts of demolition, to actual demolition, to watching this baby fully rise, we've come a long way in what was really a short time.

And this came right on the heels of watching "neighboring" Vanderbilt. Can't wait to watch the next, be it on the east side or the west.

Cool

With the addition of this building and the other super tall towers that are proposed on/around Park Avenue, Midtown Manhattan will remain by far the largest Central Business District in the world with over 450 msf of office space.

It is enjoyable to watch these towers rise via this forum! NYguy, you are really an avid fan with all your great posts. Thanks.

One question...I forget, How much of the top of this one will be illuminated from within?

That's a good question. We've seen renderings that give us some idea, but these renderings aren't really complete, in that we can determine exactly what and how much will be illuminated.

I wonder if the "diamonds" and the rectangular "frames" that surround them will be illuminated, maybe LED?

Will this building have trouble with filling up office space since the demand for office space is low due to the pandemic.
