I like the minimalist approach to the facade. Probably get a bit chilly though living there in the winter.

- Thanks! Somehow I've not gotten many good shots of LSE despite the numerous times I've flown over. Spent far too much time focused on Vista itself. Probably could have done more LSE specific work this time, too, but glad I got more of the park than i usually do.

Nick!!! Those are out of this world!! Your abilities are sublime. Any chance you can share any of the other ones from that set on your website?

Thanks! I was there for a couple days in February of 2016. Did a dusk flight over Manhattan which was amazing - and cold. Then saw a handful of the must-see sights. Here are my photos

i'd love to get back soon. Truth be told, travel photography has always irked me. I always come away feeling like I missed a ton of photo ops. One of the things I love about shooting Chicago is that i live here.

I know the weather the developments, the sight lines, etc...I can shot the same thing over and over, but each time I try to improve based on past experiences, seasonal changes, or new information/building progress. When I travel, I feel like I'm just shooting new things because they're now and the shots are rarely planned out - if that makes sense.

Nick, outstanding photos!

This coming weekend I will be in Chicago and I look forward to seeing Vista in person, probably on Sunday. By then it may have added one more floor!

The building will look interesting in the summer when all the residents have their windows open, check it out:

And a bonus pic of some glass installation

It's like when I first saw OneEleven from E/W and how much thinner it is than 77 W Wacker, the difference being clearly visible in Bobby's picture above. From the river, they look the same, but then a different vantage point reveals how much more robust one is than the other.
