I tried to add a few others but there were just so many thousands of pictures of northern lights and polar bears tagged with the town name that I gave up.

And, wow, Yellowknife is consistently impressive. I'd trade any of Mount Pearl, Paradise, Conception Bay South, or Torbay to have it right next to us.

A few more pictures of Yellowknife.

Such a beautiful town. Hard to believe it's basically the size of the Town of Paradise, suburban St. John's. Don't even know to shot a pic of it. Picture a strip mall surrounded by SFD. No sidewalks.

Jesus, houseboats even. Is Yellowknife the city all Canadians, from St. John's to Victoria, can see a bit of themselves in?

Fascinating and well-curated set of photos, SHH. I've been to all provinces including the northern parts of some, but I've never made it up to any of the territories. Even though the landscapes are familiar, it somehow looks exotic to my eyes.

A little late, but this is a good pic of the lavish St. Patrick basilica in downtown Montreal.

HK is my city for the next week or so.

Here's the view from my client's rooftop. Damn you, Hong Kong. Why do you have to look so good?

China rocks, but get out of the cities. The countryside is where I found China to really shine.

Just reading about the boundaries of DT Winnipeg in another thread. Reminded me of my two favourite parking garages in the city. There's a third in the Exchange that looks like a white building but already posted that ages ago.

^ I always thought that the first garage was just screaming to be renovated and converted into some sort of interesting indoor space...
