They are in the process of tearing down the old public works garage on Pine Glen Road. Apparently there have been several expressions of interest for the property, but as of yet no sale........

Please don't be anymore of those apartments that are currently filling in the space on the other side of Whitepine. There has to be better use for that land.

Yeh those wood frame walk-up apartments will show their age quickly. It is too bad Riverview can't grow some more retail appeal to that area.
They are moving a lot of earth behind Riverview Middle School/ Frank L Bowser Elementary.
Anyone know what's going on there?
From the pictures it looks like it's the land that was sold to a developer for a new apartment building but can't be sure. We should find out within the next week, or so.
I'm wondering what happen to all the Rumored, and even plans that where known about. It seems quiet to quiet.
Hopefully things will pick up soon. But I will not hold my breath.
It's the current town council, I have heard from friends, some who run businesses in Riverview, that the town council has no vision and no care for change. I can see riverview being amalgamated with Moncton in the next decade.
"The improvements include: electrical infrastructure along the riverfront trail; amenities such as benches, accessible dual binoculars and bike racks; artistic and cultural interpretive structures; a mural and historical interpretive signage; and the opening of the Chocolate River Café & Resto, a coffee shop that will operate out of a shipping container."

I'm wondering if that's the same shipping container idea that is now apparently going to Euston St. near the Moncton side of Gunningsville Bridge.
Even then it's not just council. Although they should be held responsible for there part in keeping Riverview down. But some developers have proposed projects, and never started them.
Monctoncore I see that too. Unfortunately it seems inevitable that they will be amalgamated into Moncton if they continue down this path.
Not until after the causeway replacement is complete. That project is a ticking time bomb.
Excellent point. The causeway replacement will cause traffic chaos across the Petitcodiac, especially in 2020. Developers may be holding back until after then.

Well it shouldn't be too much of an impact with a traffic plan........ wait, what am I saying..... yah it will be a total fiasco!

Nothing so exciting. They've paved paradise and put up a schol bus drop off.
