^I would think there is room for both in a city close to a million.
I still think of QC as a city of half a million (but I’m old) - even though I know it’s been larger than that for quite some time.
Would be fun to rekindle the Montreal vs QC rivalry from the old Habs vs Nords days.
The Universite Laval football club sucks up all the oxygen in the room.
And blocked previous attempts to locate a team there. Hopefully one day, Quebec City will be able to support Laval and CFL. The province of Quebec is a good football market and too big for just the Alouettes. I'd love to see the CFL expand, but not at the expense of the Rouge et Or. Unlike most university football in Canada, they're culturally important.
