Any word on development at One Bloor? I've been getting so lazy. Got other more priority as of late.

I happy that you guys are getting a new tallest, but I already find Stantec boring and it's only about half way.

The setback will certainly help at this floor 30 and the north/south have beautiful fins with an elegant lighting feature.

It's boring but not in a bad way. The retail podiums are a boring assembly and in a bad way.

I'd wait until the building's done before saying it's boring...especially since half the design meshes with the residential part which is yet to be constructed.

I do understand what you mean though in a simple design perspective on the office portion, though a lot of boxy office floor plates don't get too creative nowadays and their is some good quality being put into these buildings.

The lighting is what I'm looking forward to, plus that awesome looking plaza!

If it ends up looking anything like the renderings, it will definitely be boring. Not surprising for something designed by and for Stantec lol.

The quality of the materials (and the roof top crown) is what Keeps Brookfield Place here from being total shit IMO, it's a boring design, but the quality of the materials definitely helps it out.

Telus Sky is the one I'm watching the closest, the massing is great, but compared to the bulk of the Bow and Brookfield, the skinny angle is starting to look a bit awkward. The lighting feature on T.S. looks absolutely fantastic though, might be the best lighting on a tower in Canada.

I agree the materials on BP keep it out of the boring category. Unfortunately the crown has been completely botched with the pathetic lighting scheme that was put into it. I'm hoping one day when it has tenants they'll improve it so it doesn't simply look like a neon lit mechanical penthouse.

Telus Sky's lighting will be phenomenal and I think it's due to the fact that it is the art component of the building (done by Douglas Coupland). As far as massing goes I look forward to it getting skinny because that's the only thing that will break up the visual blob of BP and the Bow which appear to be almost the same height looking West.

Not sure what they are getting at with the bird friendly measures, definitely never heard of a louver referred to that way before.
