^ you're bordering on spamming. Try to think of stuff to put on 1 post instead of posting as your thinking. Or, if nobody has posted after you, just edit your last post if you have something new to add.

Interesting to see when the official news on the WTB will come out.

I still continue to not consider this the tallest highrise, building, structure or tower or whatever. A building has closed floors, so CN Tower is not only a towerbut a building also, even few floors spread along high. If BD is a building, so it is also a tower of more spread floors along high, even it will have a spire. People compare to CN Tower and Ostankino is also demolished?

So this is not too enough for such excitment of other guys here. And for that, this was the best YYYY

Yeah, I have a feeling it may still be 10 days to 2 weeks away until the pomp and circumstance comes out!
I did ask if there was any celebrations up there, but apparently the workers neither know, nor care at what height it's at, when's payday is the most important question to most of them!

^ If you read the article I posted a page earlier, they were meeting this past week about changing this very issue.
Quote:
He pointed out that measuring building height is far from an exact science, citing debate within the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat over four types of measurement (a new standard may emerge from the International Height Meeting in Chicago, under way at this writing). Regardless of whether spires, antennas, occupied floors, or other factors determine official height, the Burj will stand well beyond its projected competitors for years

I couldn't care less if there's no glass on it or it's not topped out. If you can stand on a floor that's higher than T101's off the ground, then it's the tallest building in the world....

I was only FOUR days off on my guess when it would surpass T101.....still laughing at whoever said August or September

Thanks Slugbelch , i did read it but i missed that part
I hope they sort it out the standards and for good this time !!
I'll check for an update next week

I'm wondering with the facade- regarding the way the fin pieces lock in to the one above if they will have to do surgery on the bottom floor panels to be able to lock them in ?
