the proposed 216 Sherbrook looks not bad. Simple. Unobtrusive.

I get a kick out of how the Almaleki website misspells Wosleley... "Wosley".

^ It looks good. It doesn't try too hard, just nice and simple. Good stuff.

The street address for Almaleki Developments is 218 Sherbrook Street - next door to this proposed development in the old fondu restaurant. I wonder if they are planning to develop that property as well? Looks boarded up in the render for 216 Sherbrook.

Clean, simple, fits in with its surroundings, built to the sidewalk, great little development.

Looks like lunch and dinner only.

Still happening. Not sure what timeline is, there’s still offices and a gym in use in there.

Is that the community garden site? I saw some test drilling happening there last week.

Looks like it based on Google maps...between this and the project on the site of the hold yellow painted building just a bit to the north, plus all the other projects recently on Sherbrook/Maryland that area is on a roll

Sherbrook street has a good amount of amenities I recall. Restaurants, cafes, shops, etc....It also has a friendly vibe.

They might not the root causes for the success, but they're certainly contributing factors.

Or, maybe, population increase with high demand for urban living experience that's not too busy/expensive.

Wolseley effect.

It's also spreading down Wall Street.

bike lanes, old apartments... Ellice and Sargent should be like Sherbrook too, but all the deficient landlords are ruining it.
