The one on the right is the proposal for the redevelopment of Alexanderplatz.



Potsdamer Platz is the cluster of buildings on the bottom left of the image you posted, just below the Tiergarten.

Love that new Hauptbahnhof they are building, I got off at it last year, and part of it is already up. Only problem is that I heard it won't be finished until 2020!

2020!

Now that's one slow construction. Maybe I read wrong, or it was a misprint - I certainly hope so.

Only problem is the fact that its quite literally in the middle of nowhere. It will be a crucial north-south + wes-east axis connection, but the business development that will be built is not required in a city that quite simply has far too much vacant office space. It should have been built in Mitte.

The Palace Facades will be Exclusively Financed by Donations. Costs between 360 and 800 million €
