It's awesome to see my city appear in the video, haha. It took some effort, but I was able to achieve one of my goals on this page for a few months. Now it's impossible for it to appear again, because even with the buildings that I still need to draw, the total is less than the 20th in the ranking. Furthermore, my city cannot reach the top 5 in Argentina and probably not the top 10 either. But that could only be explained because it was the only Argentine city (among those with more than 100 buildings) with 100% of its highrises represented. That's why it appears second in Argentina for now.
Every building 35 metres or taller in Toronto should be in the database. There are still 1000s of high rise proposals not added
There are also 64 stale proposal drawings, 5 demolished drawings and, 113 cancelled in addition to the 1830 drawings.
The Top20 still includes proposed buildings but not towers, while the standard diagrams was changed to not include proposed buildings, but does include towers.
The standard diagram for Hong Kong is already the largest on SSP.
I'm on a break from drawing HK buildings atm, but I know others do drawings for that city so it'll probably pass NYC any time soon.
Congrats to Toronto (and koops65) for 2000 built, u/c and proposed highrise drawings!

Searching through WebArchives, this is the earliest Top20 I could find, from May 2008:
1. New York City 546
2. Greater London 357
3. Mexico City 304
4. Los Angeles 274
5. Chicago 261
6. Hong Kong 237
7. Toronto 214
8. Kyiv 182
9. Ottawa 180
10. Sao Paulo 174
11. Vancouver 171
12. Tokyo 170
13. Rotterdam 177
14. Amsterdam 165
15. Sydney 167
16. Buenos Aires 162
17. Las Vegas 174
18. St. Petersburg 154
19. Minneapolis 152
20. Montréal 149
idk why a few of the cities ranks lower than their number of drawings suggest. Was the list manually updated?
Thanks Anders... yes Toronto now has 2000 buildings drawn. It is unfortunate that so many are proposals. Out of the 2000, 820 are proposals... more than most cities have highrises.
Amazing job with all the Toronto drawings! If all these projects were implemented, Toronto would probably have the best skyline in the world (it's already in the top 10 IMO)
