There's also these updated renderings from the architect. The perimeter fence would certainly suggest that the retail component is gone.

I prefer the red brick. I'm so over charcoal brick with white accents since the RLApocalypse.

The landscaping and fencing seem to indicate basement units with larger windows

I love all the projects in former industrial lands across the city like this and Claridge on Carling. The best kind of densification inside the greenbelt. This area and the Trainyards have great potential being right at the junction between O-Train and Via. They really need to fast track a pedestrian bridge over to the Trainyards though.

Resubmission (October 2023)

TCU Development Corp is proposed revisions to the previously approved Site Plan application for 294 and 300 Tremblay Road. The proposed changes include an increase in total number of residential units from 73 to 100, and relocating the main entrance from Avenue L to Tremblay Road.

Looks like the red brick is just for the bottom few floors

I'm confused, how did they increase the number of units from 73 to 100 if it's the same number of floors?

The first red brick version was my favourite, but I think the previous charcoal brick was my second fav (don't hate me).

This new one kinda looks like a suburban midrise dental or medical office.

They can easily increase the number of unit without adding floors by reducing the square foot of all units, or reducing the number of bedrooms per unit etc...

They've changed the mix of units. Originally it was 53 one bedroom units + 22 two bedroom units, and now it is 77 studio units + 23 one bedroom units.
Why so many studio units? It would seem a good location for families (close to services and amenities).
