Thanks! That reminds me, I never posted my pictures from Szczecin...one of these days. And, yes, LA has one of the better coffee (and food) scenes out there. I don't think many people realize just how good the food/drink/coffee/dining scene in LA has gotten.

Palm Springs has what is arguably the single largest and best-preserved collection of early modernist and mid-century SFH architecture. Maybe the wealthy, hilly region of LA, stretching from roughly Brentwood to Hollywood to Silverlake, would have once compared, but there has been a huge increase in demolitions since the late 90s.
