yea, I watched a video 2 nights ago from global tv about the gondola going to SFU, in a piece they did about how a gondola could be used to go from downtown to the north shore the story was from 2017 i think, and then people were discussing it in the transit thread and i thought maybe i've missed something...

I go to SFU and it's crazy how behind this project is. The claim is that all the below 0 seen during the fall/spring prevented concrete pouring but the reality is that it was behind schedule long before that - just like everything up here.
