Back when I was first getting into urban photography, your threads always stood out to me as being really exceptional. This one is no different. Just so many amazing shots.

I'd have to say this is my favorite:

Two of my favourite places. Great photos.

While I don't care much for the food [nasi lemak and rendang excluded], teh Tarik is my absolute favourite hot beverage.

Thanks for the tour.

Thanks, guys! I was questioning whether to add the nature shots in this thread, but it looks like you enjoyed them, so it was worth it.

Okayyou, we did manage to see a mother and baby orangutan nesting up in the trees while we were tracking some pygmy elephants. Unfortunately, I didn't have a zoom lens with me, so the photos I got were unusable. Actually, I missed a lot of good fauna shots due to that fact. I kind of regret not bringing my D200 with the 18-200mm lens. But then I think of how much of a pain it would have been to be lugging around another camera and assorted equipment, and don't feel so bad.

Kilgore, Penang shouldn't disappoint. From what I've heard, it's the prettiest city in Malaysia, and the food is supposed to be legendary.

Pete, you must not like shrimp paste then.

giallo vision goes PIT VIPER ON THAT ASS. i love malaysian food but i've never had stingray. man, that would crush.

pics are stellar as ever. borneo looks fascinating, and the petronas tower shot looking down that long street with the trees and such is probably the best photo ever taken of that (those) building(s). awesome, awesome set.
