Anyone else find it ironic that the architecture school is in such a bland building architecturally?

Also, I spent yesterday exploring Saskatoon, particularly downtown and Broadway areas. Damn, do we ever have a beautiful city. The view walking down Saskatchewan Crescent is to die for.

This has to be the WORST stereotype ever made. Take a good lesson here men, Sephora is a destination for MEN AND WOMAN! The real gentleman would be up to date on his grooming and proper bathroom needs, not using shaving foam and a double blade razor from Shoppers Drug Mart. This place has something for everyone of every age. It is a massive asset to the city.

Hmmm I think you should rethink your opinion of this building. It has a rich history which is integral to architecture, recycling buildings and their materials is something that should always be done. Architecturally it is from a beautiful era of architecture that should be celebrated. I think this would be an AMAZING building for an architecture school, not to mention the vibrancy it will add to the warehouse district and downtown.

Haha I'm calm, some times so exaggeration makes things a bit more exciting

I just know here in Toronto everyone goes to Sephora and that it's a pretty big deal and Saskatoon will probably use it the same.

OK. Diverse may be a better term. Something for everyone is a good thing.

LOL Well I'm very excited about Cabela's and have never heard of Sephora till dsim249 made mention of it. Good for Saskatoon.

We took a quick drive through Saskatoon's industrial areas this morning and could not believe the boom out there. Seems like every second piece of land has a sold sign on it. There are companies out there that I have never heard of and have no idea what they do.

^^ Matrix Business Park phase ll is now leasing with phase 1 being 80% leased.

^^ Co-op on 51st and Millar Ave.

^^ They made good progress over the winter.

^^ Acklands Grainger future home.

^^ Sarcan is building a new processing plant.

So i thought it was about time i posted a few photos of the John Deere Building that i took last August. I was lucky enough to get permission to wander the building and take photos before the city handed the property over to the university. Enjoy!
