Yikes, your right. There goes the Monarch's nightly light show from a great vantage point. Maybe the crown will still be visible.

Priller beat me to it, but I was down there today taking pictures. Since I already uploaded them I might as well post them.

I'm liking the impact this is having in this area. I'm also digging on the fall colors, the person paddle surfing and the 80 degree weather in December. Austin freakin Texas!

Looking good. Yeah, I need to go back out for some photos. The fall colors along the river are beautiful.

This should be a future postcard for Austin. Then when someone says they've never been to Texas and wonder if its all about cowboys and country living, this is what we will show them. Just to think once that 311 Bowie gets built right behind this, fugget about it!

I can see Spring from a few spots around my neighborhood, and ALMOST from the top of my street. We might be able to see the Gables apartment tower also. Not sure. And I'm pretty sure 3 Eleven Bowie will show up there.

Migol 24 wait until the new JW Marriott finishes. It will be a photo finish once complete.

Nice view there. And man those fall colors are great. Check out the reflection on the water. The river water is always so dark green that trees rarely reflect off the water.

Even with the unfinished tower, this picture looks awesome. The fall colors are beautiful. Where in New England was this taken?

The view from that Pfluger bridge is going to be killer in a few years.

Yeah, I love the angled orientation of the Gables tower from that vantage point. Imagine how it will look with 311 Bowie rising behind it. Impressive cluster.

Quality stuff. The angled street makes for a unique style of urbanity for Austin. We're used to urban development on a grid and along straight-ish roads.

Will the street between the two Gables extend to West 3rd Street by any chance? I know there's a railroad between them. Would like to see the two areas connected
