City proposed planning guide for development of some of hospital lands.

https://www.london.ca/business/Planning-Development/land-use-applications/Pages/Z-9224.aspx

Not sure why the City is trying to pre determine the possibilities for this block given they will be selling it to private developers who will have their own ideas on what they would want to create on the site. Might be short sighted in limiting the options that might be proposed.

Wouldn't this be an amazing design for the rest of the SOHO hospital lands?
The Interlace is 1,000 units.

City selling off 5 lots on the block between the river and South St that are under tax arrears. Bids due middle of June. Hopefully a developer with big plans rather than a land speculator starts assembling the privately owned lots on this block and proposes a major project. There are other lots which are privately owned which would need to be sold off so this will likely remain mostly empty with homeless encampments and garbage.

This huge parcel of land really is a mass development waiting to happen. It's at a great location by the TRP and very close to the Core. Very importantly, SOHO development has rejuvenated the area and the BRT will be complete by the time anything goes up which are 2 attributes that the 2012 proposal did not have.

Let's just pray to God that Farhi doesn't get his hands on it or at BEST it will become a parking lot.
