Gaahhhh. Is there ANYTHING that isn't in Jackson Square? I compromised with the shoes, now I would love to buy an umbrella from a storefront retailer with no parking. Even better if it's part of a continuous streetwall and part of a mixed use building with upper floor office or apartments occupied. We vote with our dollars people, if you want a downtown, spend on one.

You're probably gonna have to hit up a dollar store or something. I know, I know... but thats the way it is.

Anyway I'm heading down to James North in about an hour and I'll be doing photos down there for a few hours but I don't know if I'll be able to make it for a meet up. I'll try though.

I'll be at the artbar at 8 for a cold one. Hope to see some of you. I'll be the one with the shitty umbrella.

You are too hard on that umbrella .

What a great night. The fact that is was rainy and cold and so many people stuck it out is a testament to the power of Art Crawl.

I thought the horrible weather was gonna completely ruin the event but by 7 or 8 things really started getting going. Unfortunately I had to leave at 8, but I still enjoyed it. When I walked back down James around 9:30 or 10 going to my friend's house further north, there were giant crowds of people all over. Was really nice to see.

I was unable to get down there. Some stuff came up with school and it delayed my schedule, and it just did not work out.

Even though only 400 metres of street was closed to traffic, it felt so natural to walk. We were down there for almost 2 hours and didn't get a chance to see everything. Everyone was a little cold and wet, but still had a great time.
