I've noticed that my favourite Vancouver 2010 bid video, the one sung by Bryan Adams, has been removed from YouTube.

^ yea, that was a great video. There are two different versions of it that are much better: I believe the first one was called "Our Home", about 4-minutes in length (the whole song) and is basically a welcome video, and the other "Our Vision", also the length of the whole song with images of Vancouver/Whistler "Olympicized" with rings and decorations.

Tourism BC has posted a few new Vancouver/BC vids of quite high production value and quality:

Sweet! It looks like tourism BC has reverted back to the "Supernatural BC" slogan.

VANOC finally has a YouTube account....talk about being 4 years too late.

Anyhow, they've got quite a few High Definition and never before seen videos:

I particularly love this one:

I really wish VANOC had more money in the pot....compared to previous Winter Games, their marketing has been quite sub-par.

Does anyone know where all the Vancouver Bid Announcement videos are? Watching the Chicago and Rio stuff makes me want to reminisce but it all seems to have disappeared off youtube.

Don't believe the media people are still supporting the Olympic

The Vancouver media themselves are creating this anti Olympic negativities. But people are still supporting the Winter Olympic, don`t believe everything the media says.

It has been definitely my experience that it is only an extreme minority who are anti-Olympic. But as usual, the media gives them WAY too much time.

And, most people who are, really don't seem to have a very good reason or understanding of WHY they are.

It will be a great time for sure

We will have millions of people supporting it, and probably a few hundred protesting it, but they will be loudest and most likely be on the news every day due to their disruptive antics.

God help these people if they disrupt anything I'm at

if projections hold true you will probably see 3 million in greater Vancouver in little over 10 years from now.
