That whole thing just proved that the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat should stick to studying urban habitats instead of tall buildings because they obviously can't tell their ass from a hole in the ground. Petronas isn't just a few stories shorter than Sears, it is
twenty-two stories shorter than Sears, which means that it stole the title. Either that or the panel at the CTBUH gave the title to Petronas because they got a big kickback. Either way, it's bullshit, their criteria is ridiculous.
