Too bad we can't move it over here as I'm definetly an SSP fan first and foremost! I think what we need is a new thread showing all the under constructions and proposals for Canadian cities. Now that we're split up into different sections, I have no idea what's going on across the country, other than the 10 tallest!

Yeah, I've seen that before. For some reason they have Calgary looking east (even though the post says looking north) which is by far the narrowest angle.

While I do think the Ottawa pic does a good job showing the skyline and that aerial one gives a great idea of our density, this is my favorite skyline pic. Let's be honest, when people think of the Ottawa skyline they think about Parliament Hill with some stumpy buildings in the background.
I often find Ottawa's stout and chubby skyline quite troublesome. I really like the night view posted above. I think, in cities where height restrictions are so important, it is better to have a blanketed urban fabric like in Europe or even Washington D.C. Ottawa's downtown ended up with a North American skyline that was sawed off at half height.

Cal- you're totally right, it should be at least half as impressive as Toronto's skyline
I'm disgusted at all the wealthy corporations out there that have not chosen to invest in building something impressive in my hometown
Kitchener really does have a sad skyline. Partly the suburban business parks created trouble for the city in anchoring office space in the core. The other factor is the number of small centers that it has. From experience, Kitchenerites often feel they are living in small towns onto themselves.
