Just a thought though.
This is a baseball town, and our two baseball teams are enough.

I understand its the other way around in Texas. Football is Texas.

It looks great dont get me wrong, but its way to big for a football stadium. I like my stadiums to be smaller and compact and the fans right on top of the action. Giants Stadium was built with this in mind and the new one will be as well and i'm happy with that fact.

"yall" can have all the greatest amenities in the world, and it might be the most glamorous in the USA, but i'll take my compact Giants Stadium any day. We all know Cowboys fans are extremely quiet inside the stadium anyways, so it doesnt really matter where you play.

Cheers to your new home
The new cowboys stadium still brings you closer to the field no matter where u sit. Over-lapping bowls like in older stadiums. Also when you have a GIANT 60 yard long HDtightontron to look hanging over the field....man, i dont think there is a bad seat in this big stadium. And ive bean to the meadowlands....what a miserable patch of earth, also you New Yarkers are deaf from the non stop noise you hear 24/7, since when do u know what loud really is?

Im going to knock it off
this is a pretty bad ass stadium and i understand that the game of football should be played outside and not indoors and i think New York (New Jersey) has a nice one here.

Also i just noticed this. The top where it says New Meadowlands Stadium that that is a feature they have taken from Yankees Stadium, isnt it?

...and in the end...Lincoln Financial Field will still look cooler than that big aluminum box in the Swamp and Jerruh's Spaceship Playhouse...and it's located in the city...not some suburb!

I hate watching games on tv that take place in the nasty Meadowlands... I'm already dreading Pittsburgh's game vs. the Jets in New Jersey

Isnt the Linc already outdated?
If i had to choose between the Linc and the New Meadow, id choose meadow all the way. Philadelphia is THE WORST CITY IN AMERICA. you guys wouldn't know sportsman ship if it hit in the face over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Not knocking the interior (which is awesome) but why do the Giants want to build a stadium that looks like an oversized suburban office building from the outside?

The irony of your post is you talking about sportsmanship when all you do is insult everything that isn't Dallas.

I'd even bet that you've never been to Philadelphia.

im actually happy that the giants, jets are getting a new stadium. but to be honest i really dont like the look of tihs. with the money they are spending i dont think that its a good looking stadium. it doesnt do anything for me. especially with such a futuristic mega-mall going next to it, its going to look bland.

New Meadowlands Stadium Will Be Inundated With LCD's

In a technological move that will serve advertisers and ticket holders with shitty seats alike, a company has announced that it will be installing a visual sensory overload of LCD's in the new Meadowlands Stadium for the Jets and Giants—scheduled to open in 2010.

The 28 large-screen displays will be located on both the inside and outside of the stadium and will somehow make games more futuristic according to Giants President and CEO John Mara, “This Daktronics video system will provide New York Jets’ and New York Giants’ fans with a truly 21st century game day experience. From the moment they enter the New Meadowlands Stadium for the 2010 football season, fans will experience a state-of-the-art system that includes more than 40,000 square feet of high resolution LED technology.” This includes four massive 103 feet by 30 feet video screens in each of the stadium's corners.

The sheer mass of video displays will reportedly be great for NFL enthusiasts, allowing for oversized branding that will, according to the press release, "maximize excitement and entertainment for their fans." How noble!
