does anyone know how to get the little dimension box in the bottom right corner to come up? mine disapears whenever it wants to

Try maximizing the SketchUp window. I also had the same problem until I realised that when the window isn't maximized, the dimension bar doesn't appear.

Sometimes the window may look like it's maximised, but it's really restored down but at the size of a maxed window!
